Pacific Yew Table featured in Western Art and Architecture magazine...

"All About Yew I" one of my most famous functional art tables thanks to an article: “Something of Value: Whidbey Island Woodworkers” (page 152 of the August/September issue of the Western Art and Architecture magazine). The table is currently on exhibit (and for sale) at the Brackenwood Gallery in Langley.

"Spring Blossoms" another of my newest functional art pieces - A very unique set of chairs featuring fused-glass backs with Japenese flowering cherry blossoms and concord-grape leather seats set in a contemporary American black walnut chair frame... Note that a pair of these chairs along with a petite walnut flame-crotch table ("Freefall") will be featured at this year's Woodpalooza Exhibition (see "Art Events, Exhibitions and Shows for details).

We have received some positive feedback relating to our disclaimer, so we have decided to retain it...

THE DISCLAIMER: Remember that I'm a woodworking artist who really enjoys working with rare timbers and restoring antique pieces. In my spare time I also attempt to keep this website up to date with the projects flowing through the shop and my creative spirit. Obviously one of these activities is more enjoyable than the other, so the website is not always updated as often as it would be in a perfect world. Check back again or contact me if you have questions or discover errors or inconsistencies.... G. A. Leake (gaz)
